Would rate the app five stars if the customer would get points from online orders or subscriptions. Since there is not a location within 20 minutes from my residence which is northern central Phoenix I would benefit from a subscription order because I buy CBTL retail items and make drinks from home. Since I spend a lot of money I to receive the rewards from points on every trip I take to a location. Points/rewards is the only way CBTL recognizes loyal customers yet points cannot be added to the app from purchasing online orders from the app. This absolutely makes zero sense. The current system is a good way to create loyal customers or to thank customers. With that said, once you are a loyal customer and spend the amount of money as I do the company needs to come up with a better way to thank those customers because the app shows the amount of money customers are spending. As much money as I spend I should have a permanent discount on all orders.Contradudelv , 09/30/2023
It seems like what is available to order through the app is not based on inventory availability, but the whims of the manager at the store location. My partner and I always get our coffee with oat milk, which we could order through the app for years, but then one day the option disappeared. I figured they were out, but when I got to the store they person behind the counter recognized me and said “Trying something new today?” I told her I could not order oat milk through the app and assumed they had run out. There was plenty behind the counter, the option just disappeared. it stayed that way for a few months, then the option returned! (For a week.) So I started reviewing through the internal app review, hoping someone would notice and fix it to no avail. What is bothersome is that I can select different locations and order oat milk through the app, just not the one closest to us. Since CBTL locations are pretty spread out, this isn’t a truly viable option. I’m reviewing here in hopes that someone in the company will read this and address it… (Our location is the Lake Mead store in Las Vegas.)RebaFan21 , 02/07/2023
I have had this app since the beginning and while it has improved in some regards it has also had some negative changes. For instance your birthday drink used to give you longer to redeem. Now it only lasts 3 days? And I was out of state on my birthday with no access to a Coffee Bean so I thought I would use it when I got home but the reward never showed up in app even though I received the email. I also received an email in January stating that there would be an update to the app revamping the points system and it would drop on January 18.
It is now February and there has been no such update and no mention of why it hasn’t dropped. Now I happen to think the app is fine the way it is but I still think that’s poor communication and it’s irritating. If they are going to announce an update they need to actually drop it or give a reason why it hasn’t
