Greggs aplication process

Hi,
So I recently applied for a part time jobs at Greggs and felt very confident when I sent of my application since I spent a good couple of hours making sure everything was well written and what they wanted to hear. I passed all the tests and surveys. However I still haven't heard back from them. I can't tell whether I'm just being impatient of whether I should take it as a no, but to put it short I sent the application on the 3rd, the position closed on the 8th and seven days later I still haven't heard nothing! My process on my application still says "processing" so its frustrating as I don't even know where my application stands and now the position is closed does it even get considered? Anyone with any past experience applying for Greggs would help. The website states they do inform you if you do not get the part but my application hasn't even got past the first stage.

I currently work at Greggs, I think the way they offer jobs is how desperate the shop is for staff. For example: If a shop really needs a team member for the weekends, they'd rather employ a student.

Sometimes I've seen applications just stay as processing or get rejected at the end of it. Just keep applying to different Jobs on their website which is suitable for you.

As the form is saved on every time you log in (Well was for dunno if they've changed it) I just applied to different jobs. After like more than 20 attempts, I finally got offered an interview

The thing is I think it shows on the system that your actively looking for a job at Greggs, one of my friends got called directly from the greggs career team and offered her an interview for a job at greggs on the weekends as they saw she was a student.

So don't give up after one go, for some its easy and for some it takes a while (Like me lool)
