A new #restaurant is coming 🌿 We are delighted to open Farmhouse at Descanso with @chefrichmead in 2025. We caught up with Chef Mead at the Pasadena Farmers’ Market to hear more about his passion for food and bringing people together. His commitment to sustainability and community perfectly aligns with our mission here at the Garden. Farmhouse at Descanso is currently under construction next to the Courtyard. We can’t wait for you to join us in 2025! #FarmhouseDescanso

What's #growing on at the Ruth Borun Nursery and Propagation Center? Nursery Manager Frank Obregon has been propagating two types of plants that are not only pollinator-friendly, but rare in U.S. cultivation. <a href=While Periploca angustifolia and Kanahia laniflora might be mouthfuls to pronounce, they are great examples of plants that are water-wise and beautiful. Stay tuned as we share more of what's happening behind the scenes here in the garden in the coming months." />
